Imagine being in prison for a crime you did not commit!  Wrongful convictions are a public safety/human rights issue that can happen to anyone.  Join ILEAD in welcoming an amazing survival story of perserverance, that will inspire you featuring guest speaker, Fernando Bermudez.  Mr. Bermudez was proven "actually innocent" in 2009 after over 18 years in New York State prisons.  Bermudez and his wife, Crystal, will be joined by the New England Innocence Project (NEIP) to discuss how the problem of innocent in prison affects American justice.
