Please join us this Thursday, March 5th, when the DALI Lab and the DEN Network are excited to host “The Pitch: W15”. (Loew Auditorium 5-7:30 PM).  This is a unique opportunity for members of the Dartmouth community to pitch their ideas. Winners receive support  from DALI and DEN to design, develop and formulate their ideas into working prototypes and business plans.  Faculty, students and staff from Arts and Sciences, Thayer, Tuck, and Geisel will have two minutes each to pitch their big ideas.  We are not looking for business plans, but rather for truly creative ideas with big impact.

With Pitches ranging from a new way to keep Dartmouth’s floors clean, to apps that streamline travel, to improvements in healthcare, the Pitch will be a diverse and fascinating show of the creativity and ingenuity Dartmouth has to offer.

Pitches begin promptly at 5 PM.  Twenty three ideas will be pitched in two minute intervals. After the pitches, audience members and judges vote for the teams that presented ideas that have large potential impact, are innovative and creative, have a good chance of success, and are well-presented. The judges choices receive $3000, $2000, or $1000 for first, second and third place respectively. The audience’s choice receives $2000. All contestants can also receive design, development, and entrepreneurial support from DALI and DEN as they bring their pitched ideas to life. Judges include: Gail Gentes, Jamie Coughlin, Tim Tregubov, Diana Salsbury, and Lorie Loeb.
