Laura Jeliazkov ’18 grew up near Washington, D.C. She finally received her B.A. in Chemistry from Dartmouth this month and will be continuing on to graduate studies at McGill University in Montréal next year. Laura started playing the flute in the fourth grade, using her mother’s old Armstrong which she found in the closet. She has studied with Elena Yakovleva, David Whiteside, and more currently with Alex Ogle and Rachel Braude at Dartmouth. She has played with the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra since 2014.
