For over two decades, Shubitidze and the EMS research group have focused on geophysical and medical applications to help save people's lives. Shubitidze will showcase two technologies developed at Dartmouth:

1) Remote detection and identification of subsurface unexploded ordnances, landmines, and improvised explosive devices; and

2) magnetic nano-particle (MNP) hyperthermia cancer treatment.
