Identity politics is aspiring to remake our leading educational, cultural, and political institutions. Where did the current movement get its ideas?

Yascha Mounk will explore this timely topic in depth. One of the leading commentators of our time, Mounk (Political Science, Johns Hopkins) is a contributing editor at the Atlantic, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, founder of Persuasion, and host of the podcast "The Good Fight." Author of four books, his The People Against Democracy is widely regarded as having foreseen the recent rise of populism. He is also a visiting professor in the Political Economy Project. The event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the PEP.
