Professor of International Relations at Boston University, Fewsmith is the author of numerous books and articles on recent China and especially its prospects for political or economic reform. Most recently, he was a contributor to Studying China in the Absence of Access: Rediscovering a Lost Art. How much do we really know about this secretive regime?
