Earn this practice-oriented certification to facilitate conversations about divisive issues across lines of difference with confidence in the classroom or co-curricular campus settings. The program is co-hosted by the Constructive Dialogue Institute and the Dialogue Project. It is open to all Dartmouth faculty and staff.

By the end of the program, participants will:

  • Understand the mindsets of constructive dialogue, including humility, curiosity, and a commitment to sustaining conversation amidst deep disagreement.
  • Learn to plan and facilitate constructive dialogue for students.
  • Build the confidence and readiness to address and manage tense or controversial situations constructively.

This is an in-depth, four-part program that includes 20 hours of training. Participants must attend all sessions. Sessions take place March 17,  March 20, March 24, and March 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. via Zoom.

Please register by March 10.
