In an effort to strengthen community partnerships in local food procurement, Dartmouth Sustainability is hosting a mixer event at the Dartmouth Organic Farm on October 9 that will bring together farmers, distributors including CAE and Upper Valley Produce, nonprofits including Vital Communities, and institutions including Dartmouth, Dartmouth Hitchcock, and early childhood education programs, to seed conversations exploring further local food procurement pathways in our region. We will gather at Dartmouth's Organic Farm for a short tour, share farm-grown snacks, and discuss the future of our local foodshed with the goal of building relationships and starting conversations that will lead to community-led solutions.
