Erica Moretti is Associate Professor of Italian Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology-SUNY and a 2023 NEH Rome
Prize Fellow.
She is the author of The Best Weapon for Peace: Maria Montessori, Education, and Children's Rights (2021), winner of multiple book prizes.
Her research focuses on pacifism, humanitarianism, and the experiences of refugees and displaced children in modern Italy.
