Calling all artists! What would you make if we gave you the keys to the tower? How would you use the bells to share your creative practice? In this community workshop led by Carillonist Dr. Tiffany Ng and Music Librarian Memory Apata, we invite you to imagine the future of the Baker Bells together. 

The trained artists who play and compose for carillon tend to have similar educations, backgrounds, and jobs, and thus come up with similar ideas. Of course bells play music, but we want to hear from filmmakers, digital artists, designers and writers as well as composers. Bell towers are iconic and beloved landmarks, and many people value them deeply and think about them regularly. If you have a wild idea, we want to see what we can do to bring it to life!
