Enrico Riley

Associate Professor of Studio Art

Enrico Riley received a BA in Visual Studies from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and an MFA in painting from Yale University in New Haven, CT.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Studio Art at Dartmouth College.

Some of his solo exhibitions include Giampietro Gallery in New Haven, CT,  SACI School of Art Florence, Italy, Pageant Gallery in Philadelphia, PA, and Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. His work has also been included in group exhibitions at The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA. The Columbus Museum in Columbus Georgia, Lori Bookstein Fine Art in New York City, The Painting Center in New York City, the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City, the Museum for the National Center of Afro-American Arts in Roxbury, MA and the American Academy in Rome.

Enrico is the recipient of an American Academy of Arts and Letters Purchase Prize in painting, a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship for painting.  He is also the recipient of a Rome Prize in Visual Arts.  His works are in the collections of The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Columbus Museum, the Nasher Museum and Dartmouth College
