Creativity, innovation and talent are on full display throughout the month of May as students showcase their culminating work in a variety of locations in the Arts and Innovation District and across campus.  Check out the range of offerings in music, theater, dance, studio art, film and media, digital arts, and more and join us in celebration of all that is [email protected].

    Creativity is unleashed as students and faculty push the limits of thought in a series of special events including the New Music Festival, Digital Arts Expo, The Pitch and a once-in-a-lifetime event throughout the galleries of the Hood.  You’re sure to be inspired!

    The galleries in the Black Family Visual Arts Center and the Hopkins Center, along with the Loew Theater, serve as venues for the work of student culminating work in studio art and film and media studies.

  • Hop Ensembles: Music and Dance

    From uplifting gospel to the yearning melodies of Russian choral music, from works inspired by nature to masterpieces by Bach and Beethoven, and from the dance music of West Africa to dance set to the music of Phillip Glass and to big-band jazz, the Hop showcases the multiple talents of student musicians and guest artists.

  • Senior Recitals

    Over 125 students take advantage of Dartmouth’s Individual Instruction Program (IIP), studying keyboard, woodwinds, brass and string instruments, as well as percussion and voice with professional instructors.  This year’s senior recitals feature a range of works for voice, violin, piano, classical guitar, bassoon and more.

    Whether on stage or backstage, as writers or dramaturgs, students take on all roles in three senior honors thesis productions and the ever-popular WIRED 24-hour playwriting experience at the Bentley Theater this spring.
