Calendar User's Guide
The calendar allows you to search for and filter events by date, category, institutional event (such as Commencement or Homecoming), intended audience (public, students, faculty, staff, and/or alumni), and sponsor organization.
Subscribe & Download
Use the calendar search options to identify the events that interest you. For example, you can subscribe to all events sponsored by a particular campus organization, all events in the "Arts" category, all events occuring during a specific time frame, all events that are open specifically to Dartmouth students, or any other possible combination of search criteria. When you complete a search, the following options will appear at the top of the event list:
- Subscribe by email: Sign-up to receive a daily or weekly email digest of Dartmouth events.
- Subscribe by RSS: The RSS subscription is a live feed that displays within your RSS reader of choice. New events and updates to events will appear automatically in your RSS subscription.
- Subscribe to calendar: This is a live subscription that is sent to a personal calendar, such as Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook (Windows only). New events and updates to events will appear automatically on your calendar.
- Download to calendar: Click this option to download the event information to a personal calendar, such as Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook. This is a one-time download; new events and updates to events will not appear on your calendar.
