New Members of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences

Won Mok Shim, assistant professor of psychological and brain sciences

Expertise: Cognitive neuroscience, visual perception and cognition

CV: Shim holds a PhD from Harvard University. Her work has been published in journals including Cerebral Cortex, Vision Research, and Nature Neuroscience.

Why Dartmouth? “I am glad to join one of the strongest cognitive neuroscience research groups in the nation,” says Shim. “The outstanding faculty, resources, and area combine for a unique situation.” She continues: “Students at Dartmouth have a great reputation, and I am looking forward to interacting with talented and curious minds.”
