Lecturer in Theater Christian Kohn is a man of many talents; he is co-creator, co-author and director of Breaking E.D.E.N., a series of plays recently shown at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.

The short plays all focus on unions, from migrant workers fighting for higher pay in Florida to miners looking for safer working conditions in West Virginia.

Kohn recently shared his insider’s view of the project with Vermont Public Radio. He said he hopes audience members, after seeing Breaking E.D.E.N., will “be more concerned about what’s happening in their communities with jobs that pay a living wage.”
