Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“I’m shocked. Hearing gunshots echo in Parliament was heart-wrenching. I’ve spent a lot of time in Ottawa, and I’ve always taken pride in the fact that it feels so safe downtown,” says Associate Professor Dale Turner about the shootings in the Canadian capital on Oct. 22.

Turner is an associate professor of government and of Native American studies.
