Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“There are certain things that people aren’t supposed to do to one another as absolutes. They are not OK. Doctors killing patients is not OK,” says the Geisel School of Medicine’s Ira Byock in a 60 Minutes story about assisted suicide.

Byock is an emeritus professor of medicine and of community and family medicine at Geisel.
