“We covered a lot of ground and began a great exchange of ideas about the direction of Dartmouth in the first town hall in October,” says Mills. “I hope people will take this opportunity to join Carolyn Dever and me as the conversation continues.”

The town hall session will run from noon to 1 p.m. in Spaulding Auditorium at the Hopkins Center. The meeting is open to all members of the Dartmouth community.

At the first meeting, on Oct. 9, Mills said Dartmouth and higher education in general are in the midst of tremendous change. He said the way forward at the College is for administration, faculty, and staff to engage in a discussion, to take risks, to learn from failures and share successes. This will come through conversations with the whole community, he said.

In order to foster a broad discussion about Dartmouth’s future, Mills said, he will continue to host an ongoing series of town hall meetings.
