Dartmouth will “ban hard alcohol on campus, forbid pledging at fraternities and sororities, overhaul its student housing model, and roll out a mandatory four-year sexual violence prevention program as part of major policy changes announced Thursday aimed at curbing high-risk behavior,” writes The Boston Globe in its coverage of President Phil Hanlon’s presentation of his Moving Dartmouth Forward Plan.

In his Jan. 29 presentation to the community, President Hanlon said, “We will take the lead in American higher education in restoring student life to a safe and sustainable place,” reports the Globe.
