In a letter to the Dartmouth community, President Phil Hanlon ’77 and Provost Carolyn Dever stressed the importance of participating in the Dartmouth Community Study. A link to the online survey was sent by email to all members of the community on Oct. 6, and participation is voluntary and anonymous.
The Dartmouth Community Study Working Group “will use this data to make recommendations of concrete actions Dartmouth can take to address challenges and build on our successes. We are committed to both sharing findings from the survey with the campus and responding quickly and openly to the committee’s recommendations,” Hanlon and Dever wrote in an Oct. 5 email.
Participants can access the survey by clicking the web link included in the Oct. 6 invitation. The questions must be filled out in one session, as the system does not allow people to pause and then complete the survey at a later date. It should take no longer than 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The survey closes on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Additional information about the study is available through the Office of the Provost. Paper copies are available for those who need the survey in an alternative format from the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity in Blunt 304.
