What do Grey’s Anatomy’s Meredith Grey, Mad Men’s Pete Campbell, and The West Wing’s Jed Bartlet have in common? They’re all Dartmouth graduates. Well, not really. Their make-believe back stories include that they are Dartmouth alumni, says a list on the website BuzzFeed.

“They might not be the real people, but they really have the “granite of New Hampshire in their muscles and their brains,” says BuzzFeed, quoting Dartmouth’s Alma Mater.
