Tall white pine timbers, part of new Mt. Moosilauke Lodge.
The new Moosilauke Ravine Lodge is taking shape. Tall white pines—harvested from property owned by Dartmouth and from the Bradford, Vt., woodlands of alumnus Putnam “Put” Blodgett ’53—have been stripped of their bark but otherwise left as visible reminders of the forests they came from. Harry Enten ’11
Harry Enten ’11, a writer for the popular politics and statistics website FiveThirtyEight, returned to Dartmouth recently to give a public talk on the state of political polling in the wake of the 2016 election. While on campus, Enten met with students and faculty and visited a class taught by Dean Lacy, a professor of government. It’s the same class that Enten took when he was a student here.
