The Office of Student Life honored student leaders for their contributions to Dartmouth beyond the classroom with an awards ceremony at Collis Common Ground last week.

“We thought it was really important that this celebration honor all the diverse ways that students give back to Dartmouth with their out-of-class activities,” says Associate Dean for Student Life Eric Ramsey, one of the organizers of the event.

This is the third year that all the student life divisions—including the Outdoor Programming Office, the Office of Greek life, the Office of Student Life, the Collis Center for Student Involvement, Dartmouth Broadcasting, and the Dartmouth Forensic Union—came together at an awards banquet to celebrate the students’ contributions.

“It’s important for students to see and honor each other’s different contributions, so it’s important for outdoor programs to see the contributions that our Greek students make to Dartmouth and it’s important for our Greek students to see the ways that the Collis Center staff contributes to Dartmouth,” says Ramsey.
