Honoring Veterans for Their Service

Campus Veterans Day commemorations included a student-veteran panel, a conference on the College’s military history, and a Q&A session with retired four-star Gen. Carter Ham. In addition, ROTC cadets conducted a flag drill and retreat ceremony on the Green under wintry conditions.

Makena Harris, Tuck ’20, was the guest speaker at the Veterans Day Remembrance Breakfast held at the Hanover Inn Grand Ballroom. Harris served with the 101st Army Airborne Division in Afghanistan and later became the Army’s first female battery commander in the 25th Infantry Division prior to enrolling at Tuck.
