Attending Dartmouth’s annual homecoming typically involves packing a bag and booking a flight or driving a few hours to Hanover. This year, you’ll just need to heat up the cocoa, don your Dartmouth apparel, and pull up a comfy chair.

In a sign of the times, we’ll be gathering online this year for Home Sweet Dartmouth Homecoming, a virtual celebration taking place Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2 and 3. Alumni and staff have put together a lineup of creative, thoughtful, and entertaining events for the entire weekend.

“Gathering together—even virtually—with other Dartmouth alumni, parents, and friends will be a much-needed lift in these difficult times,” says Cheryl Bascomb ’82, vice president of Alumni Relations. “This community, bound by Dartmouth, exemplifies the enduring spirit and regard we have for each other—and for our beloved traditions. We need to use these traditions to reach out to each other, to work together to create a strong and inclusive community.”
