It’s well documented that petting animals relieves stress. Last week, students got to experience the phenomenon firsthand when they lined up in front of a tent outside Collis to pet baby bunnies, puppies, kittens, pigs, and a diapered goat.

A welcome stress relief from an unusual term on campus, the students were happy to hold the animals—swaddled in blankets—for pats and hugs. The event was sponsored by the Programming Board, in collaboration with Barn Babies, a traveling petting zoo based in New England.
