Dartmouth has two goals going into the second winter of the COVID-19 pandemic: Keeping campus open to maintain the student experience, teaching, and research, and minimizing the risk of serious illness while promoting mental health.

That’s according to Interim Provost David Kotz ’86 and Executive Vice President Rick Mills—leaders of Dartmouth’s COVID-19 response—who recorded a pre-holiday conversation with Vice President for Communications Justin Anderson about the team’s decision-making process, lessons learned from the fall, and what the community can expect in winter 2022.
