Views From the Green: Arrival

News subtitle

New students get oriented on campus in preparation for fall term.

First-year undergraduates and other new students arrived on campus last week for a full slate of orientation activities.

That included a Shared Academic Experience focused on the upcoming Hop production of the multimedia opera The Ritual of Breath Is the Rite to Resist, a community yard sale to promote sustainability, and a mixer for Guarini students at the Dartmouth Outing Club.

And, of course, there was a lot of moving into residence halls to be accomplished, new roommates to meet, and farewell hugs with family members helping the new students get settled into Hanover.
