The 23-year-old titan arum is again drawing visitors to the Life Sciences Greenhouse.
Every year, Dartmouth Sustainability forms a Sugar Crew of undergraduate students during spring break to help run the maple syrup operation at the Dartmouth Organic Farm.
During the immersion program, the students “come out to the Dartmouth sugarbush and learn about sugaring, from the tapping of the trees all the way to the bottling of the syrup,” says program manager Jack Walker ’22.
