Professional ultra-distance cyclist Bond Almand ’26 made news last year when he biked from the Arctic Circle to Tierra del Fuego in 75 days, setting a record on the Pan American route.

Now back on campus, Almand studies government and climate science and strives to “spark positive environmental change.” 

His cycling, he notes, enables him to meet people around the world in a novel way.
