Daniel Liu ’26 performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto 3 with the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra in early March.

Known as “Rach 3,” the concerto is notoriously difficult, and Liu calls it “a daunting yet rewarding piece.”

Liu benefited from coaching by music professor Will Cheng, who, Liu says, was “a guardian angel kind of helping me make sure that everything went smoothly.”
