An Introduction to Poetry class taught by Vermont Poet Laureate Bianca Stone gave students the opportunity to learn more about one of the most intimate aspects of writing.

“It’s such an introspective and reflective process,” says Finn McNany ’28.

“Poetry,” Stone says, “helps us be more fully in the world through language, and it helps us understand ourselves and other people.”
