The Department of Film & Media Studies and Hopkins Center Film applaud Professor Jeffrey Ruoff with this celebratory screening of his films

Jeffrey Ruoff is a film historian and documentary filmmaker in the Department of Film and Media Studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA. He has contributed chapters to five books and has published articles in many journals, including CineAction, Visual Anthropology Review, Wide Angle, Cinema Journal, Documentaires, Iris, Visual Anthropology, and Film History, as well as publications such as The Atlantic, The Conversation, Fortune, and The Huffington Post. With his brother Kenneth, he co-authored the book The Emperor's Naked Army Marches On on historical memories of the Pacific War in Japanese cinema.
