Through Reading Program, Children Can Decode Words (VPR)



Some children who have trouble learning to read are getting support through a remedial reading program offered by the nonprofit Stern Center for Language and Learning, with which Dartmouth’s Donna Cochis working, reports VPR.

Coch, an associate professor of education, is participating with the Stern Center on a National Science Foundation grant to investigate the difference between the brains of children who find it easy to learn to read and children who find it difficult, VPR reports.
