Image removed.“Screening is a close call,” says Dartmouth’s H. Gilbert Welch in a New York Times story about the efficacy of mammograms in screening for cancer.

Welch is a professor of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine and at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice, and a professor of business administration for the Master of Health Care Delivery Science program.
