The Book Arts Workshop in the lower level of Baker Library is a place where students, faculty, and other Dartmouth community members can learn about letterpress printing, digital design, and bookbinding.

It’s also, as Program Manager Sarah Smith says, a place to combine art with problem solving.

“What I find exciting about Book Arts is it’s a way of being creative without knowing you’re being creative,” she says.
