Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway attempt to save humanity in Christopher Nolan's mind-bending opera of space, time and home.

Free for Dartmouth students!

With Earth facing environmental annihilation, NASA astronauts Cooper and (Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathway) undertake a perilous journey across the universe to find a hospitable new planet. Left behind, Cooper's daughter (Jessica Chastain) grows up to be a scientist herself, attempting to solve the massive problem of transporting Earth's population off the planet while escaping its gravity.

An ambitious epic of space travel and human destiny, Interstellar is terrifically entertaining, with an all-star supporting cast that includes Michael Caine, David Oyelowo, John Lithgow, Timothée Chalamet, Ellen Burstyn and Matt Damon. Nolan's trademark imagination and daring elevate this big-budget science fiction endeavor into something profoundly intelligent, soulful and heartbreakingly beautiful.
