Conflict management expert Bob Bordone '94 will share insights on how to reframe conflict as an opportunity to forge stronger relationships, rather than an obstacle to overcome.

In the recently published book, Conflict Resilience: Negotiating Disagreement Without Giving Up or Giving In, Bordone and co-author and behavioral neurologist Joel Salinas detail how to turn conflict into a win for everyone through a three-step framework that draws on neuroscience and advanced conflict management techniques.

In this talk, Bordone will explore conflict resilience, a skillset and mindset involving practical solutions that tap into what’s happening in our bodies and our brains during moments of conflict.

An internationally recognized expert in negotiation, conflict resolution, mediation, and facilitation, Bordone specializes in assisting individuals and groups seeking to manage conflicts in highly sensitive or difficult situations. He is a senior fellow at Harvard Law School, former Harvard faculty member, and founder of the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
