With energy policy front and center during the Trump Administration’s first 100 days, join us for a bipartisan conversation with The Honorable Dan Brouillette, 15th United States Secretary of Energy, and Kevin Knobloch, former Chief of Staff for the U.S. Department of Energy, that examines policy priorities for the new administration and congress, key trends shaping the energy landscape, and how these policies and trends will impact energy markets and the industry. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Charlie Wheelan, Faculty Director, Center for Business, Government, & Society, and student representatives John Coleman '26 of the Dartmouth Conservatives, Fiona Hood '26 of the Dartmouth Democrats, and Nolan Mayhew TU'25 of the Tuck Business and Politics Club.

The panelists bring deep expertise shaping energy policy in Republican and Democratic administrations, respectively, and as leaders in the private sector. In addition to his government service, Secretary Brouillette has served as President of Sempra Infrastructure, held senior executive and corporate officer roles at Ford Motor Company and USAA, and is currently the senior energy advisor to the $500 billion “Stargate” project. Kevin Knobloch is currently President of Knobloch Energy, has served as CEO and President of Greentown Labs, President of New York OceanGrid LLC, and President of the Union of Concerned Scientists.

The 100-Days Speaker Series builds on Dartmouth’s commitment to bring diverse perspectives and expertise to our institution, as we discuss focal policy areas impacted by the presidential transition. This program is being cosponsored by The Revers Center, the Irving Institute, the Rockefeller Center, Dartmouth Dialogues, and the Center for Business, Government and Society, in collaboration with the Dartmouth Democrats, Dartmouth Conservatives, and the Dartmouth Political Union.

Registration is highly encouraged and is available at http://dartgo.org/100DaysEnergy. The program will be viewable online at http://dartgo.org/100DaysEnergyLive.
