Jeanine grew up in Portland, Oregon and earned a BS Physics degree from the University of Oregon in 2007. Following a year as a research technician in a lab at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU), she matriculated in the Molecular and Cellular Biology PhD program at Dartmouth. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry in 2014 from Dean Madden’s lab.
