The ensemble will be joined by tap choreographer Jessica Volan Trout-Haney (F), member choreographers Maria Grozeva ('24) and Polina Chesnokova ('24), and the class of THEA 29: Dance Theater Performance in presenting exciting premieres. The eclectic program includes contemporary, tap and ballet works, set to the music of a variety of artists including Hermanos Gutiérrez, Thomas Fonnesbæk and Justin Kauflin, Ernö Dahnanyi, and Japanese pop band Ehamic, among others. The talented and dedicated members of the DDE include Dartmouth students, faculty and staff who are eager to offer an evening filled with athleticism, artistry, sincerity and a strong sense of community.
There will be a 30-minute Q&A after the Friday, May 24 performance.
