This winter, the Leslie Center for the Humanities will sponsor a series of readings on Translation and Literature with Eugene Ostashevsky, Jon Cho-Polizzi and Zhenia Dubrova ('24).

Zhenia Dubrova is an English major with a concentration in creative writing, received the 2023 Student Translation Award from the American Translators Association. Dubrova, who is from eastern Ukraine, won the award for her translation from Ukrainian into English of Your Beloved Dogs and Other Animals, a poetry collection by Bohdana Matiyash.
