Talk description:    Disability is present in all areas of life, and in our ongoing discourse on the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the lived experiences of people with disabilities/disabled people is often an afterthought. This interactive session will include an overview of the issues that impact the disabled in educational spaces. We will also discuss practical steps that faculty, staff, and students can take to create educational environments that are accessible and inclusive for all.
