Showing What We Know: Selected Baker-Berry Library Exhibit Posters - A 20-Year Retrospective
Exhibits in Baker-Berry Library feature the Libraries' connections to Dartmouth scholarship, teaching, traditions, and community. We often partner with our colleagues in Rauner Special Collections Library to feature special collections materials and artifacts from the College's history. We also partner with Digital by Dartmouth Library (DxDL) to showcase digital collections and to make our exhibits accessible to viewers far beyond Dartmouth's campus.
"We offer here, in the Reiss Hall and Berry Main Street exhibit cases, a glimpse of the many topics our exhibits have presented to the community over the past two decades, from the Libraries' unique Spanish Theater Collection exhibit in 2003 to a treatment of Mexican photographer and author Juan Rulfo's exquisite photographs in 2024.
As Baker-Berry Library's exhibit designer since 2002 I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of brilliant exhibit curators, including library colleagues, Dartmouth faculty, post-docs, alumni, and members of the wider community. This exhibit features many of my exhibit panel and poster designs and is presented as a thank-you to the curators and contributors who have made these exhibits possible."
– Dennis Grady, Baker-Berry exhibits designer, 2002–2024
