The Dartmouth College Department of History presents the annual Robert F. Allabough 1934 Memorial Lecture Tuesday, September 30th at 5:00PM in Carson L01, given by by Prof. Mia Bay: 

“Talking Back to Thomas Jefferson: African Americans Discuss the Founding Father, 1776-1877.”

Prof. Bay is the Paul A. Mellon Professor of American History at the University of Cambridge, UK. An award-winning scholar of American and African-American intellectual, cultural, and social history, she is the author of several books, most recently, the Bancroft Prize-winning Traveling Black: A Story of Race and Resistance (Harvard, 2021). This lecture is free and open to the public.
