In this event, local authors Doug Teschner and Beth Malow will discuss their new book, Beyond the Politics of Contempt: Practical Steps to Build Positive Relationships in Divided Times. This timely book focuses on how we can transform the politics of fear and contempt into a politics of hope. The book provides, in bite-sized chunks peppered with personal stories, specific ways we can mend relationships with our friends and family, and work together at the local level to make a meaningful impact on our democracy.
