Join EEERS for a special lecture with Katerina Gordeeva—award-winning journalist, documentary filmmaker, and "foreign agent" in exile. Renowned for her intimate interviewing style on the hit YouTube show Tell Gordeeva and her recent book Take My Grief Away (Penguin, 2024), in this talk, Gordeeva shifts her lens to the feminine in the post-Soviet space. Gordeeva will address state violence, economic insecurity, and their Impact on femininity, motherhood, and family life, offering a critical case study for understanding global anti-liberal movements.
