Tatti Ribeiro’s comedy-documentary hybrid about a young woman (Keyla Monterroso Mejia) who navigates everyday life near the busiest part of the U.S.-Mexico border. Q&A with Director, Tatti Ribeiro after the screening. Tatti is a journalist and filmmaker raised in the Bay Area. She is the founder of franknews and a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Valentina is her first feature film.
Tatti Ribeiro just won the "One to Watch" award at the Film Independent's Spirit Awards 2026.
