Directed by Phil Lord '97 and Chris Miller '97, this epic space adventure adapted from Andy Weir's bestseller stars Ryan Gosling as a reluctant astronaut trying to save Earth.

Middle school biology teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light-years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. He has some vague memories of the government scientists (Sandra Hüller, Ken Leung) who chose him for this long-shot mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction … but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.

Phil Lord '97 and Chris Miller '97 directed and produced this epic space adventure, with screenwriter Drew Goddard (The Martian) bringing another Andy Weir bestseller to life. This spring blockbuster is a must-see on the big screen!
