Sherry-Ann Brown, MD, PhD, FACC, FAHA is a board-certified cardiologist and physician scientist specializing in preventive cardio-oncology, cancer survivorship, and the application of artificial intelligence to cardiovascular risk prediction. Dr Brown is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Community-Based Faculty Program at Florida International University College of Medicine. She is also the Founder of the Heart Innovation & Equity Research Institute. Dr. Brown leads national and internationally focused clinical, research, and digital innovation efforts at the intersection of cancer and cardiovascular disease. She is the first cardiologist licensed to practice medicine in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., enabling large-scale, virtual, and data-driven care models.

Her research focuses on artificial intelligence–enabled prediction of cardiovascular disease in cancer patients and survivors, health equity, and precision prevention. She has served on national scientific and advisory committees including NIH/NCI AI initiatives. She has been an invited speaker for the NCI Cancer Survivorship Lecture Series in collaboration with NHLBI and a moderator for the NCI Machine Learning and Health Outcomes in Cancer Care Delivery Research Workshops. She is Associate Editor for Artificial Intelligence on the Editorial Boards for Cardio-Oncology journal and American Heart Journal Plus. Dr. Brown remains an active national and internationally invited speaker on cardio-oncology, cancer survivorship, and AI-enabled cardiovascular care.
